A joyful success from a watercolour painting class with Jennifer Duval-Smith. It was quite an adventure placing its form ‘just so’, and once we had decided on the two main base colours (the same one in fact!), it all came together. I gave the original to my favourite cousin’s husband, where it sits in a very old frame, proud in its new home. After painting this lily, I became more confident in my painting ability.
