Terms and Conditions

1. General

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of this website and the purchase of products from Sara Meade Design (“we”, “us”, “our”, “me”). By ordering from our online store, you agree to these terms.

2. Products

We sell watercolour art prints, handmade felt figures and Christmas decorations, DIY felt kits and knitting patterns (digital downloads).

Each item is described as accurately as possible. Because our handmade products are unique, small variations may occur.

Colours may differ slightly due to screen settings or printing variations and availability from our wholesalers. We will do our best to inform you of any changes.

3. Prices & Payment

All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD).

Payment must be made in full before your order is shipped or digital products are delivered.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time.

4. Shipping & Delivery

We ship within New Zealand and internationally (where possible, and excluding the United States of America).

Shipping costs and delivery timeframes will be shown at checkout.

Once shipped, delivery times may vary depending on postal services and international customs.

Any customs duties or import taxes are the buyer’s responsibility.

5. Returns & Refunds

Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, you are entitled to a remedy if products are faulty, not as described, or not of acceptable quality.

For physical goods: If you believe your item is faulty, please contact us within 14 days of receiving it. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund where appropriate.

We do not offer refunds for change of mind.

For digital products (e.g., knitting patterns): Because these are downloadable files, we cannot provide refunds once the file has been delivered, unless required under the Consumer Guarantees Act (e.g., if the file is faulty or cannot be accessed).

6. Intellectual Property

All artworks, designs, products, and digital downloads remain the copyright of Sara Meade Design.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use them for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Knitting patterns, DIY instructions and templates are for personal use only. You may make items from the patterns for yourself or as gifts, but you may not resell the patterns or items made from them for commercial purposes without permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the use of our website or products.

Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act or Fair Trading Act.

8. Privacy

We respect your privacy and will only collect personal information necessary to fulfil your order or for purposes related to voluntarily entering into competitions.

Your details will not be shared with third parties, except as required for payment processing and delivery.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
