Knitted Warmth

Hi, I’m Sara — an artist based in Auckland with a lifelong passion for colour and unique expression. I’ve been lucky to grow up surrounded by creative skills and a compulsive joy in making (or “making-do”). Lately, it’s been a thrill to see my artwork resonate with people, including clients and friends both in New Zealand and abroad. You’ll find a selection of my pieces available for sale and commission—feel free to browse my shop for details. I’ll also be sharing snippets of my creative life in blog posts—stay tuned for inspiration and updates; you can find me on Instagram and Facebook.

To keep my mind and body feeling good, I regularly practise tai chi—a great way to relax with purpose. I love spending time with my family, and taking daily sniff-and-drag walks with our dog. I also enjoy hunting for New Zealand ceramic treasures and vintage linen fabrics at flea markets and op shops. My love for French continues to grow—an enduring connection to the five years weIl spent living there. C’était vraiment magnifique.

Creativity is self-discovery; everyone creates what they need to express.
