“Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer, do! I’m half crazy all for the love of you.” A song sung many times in my childhood, linking mysteriously to a tandem bicycle. I initially painted this with the front of the flower on the right and the back on the left. For a very good reason (that eludes me now), I swapped the images around. I think it looks great in both orientations, in fact! I also love the overlapping pattern of the small leaves at the top of the stem, firmly holding all of the petals in place, until the daisy season is over.
