Bolton's bend-in-the-river

from $39.00

Could be the most obscure painting title I have, and only a handful of people know what it means. But I’ll share it with you! It refers to my maiden name ‘Crompton’ which means ‘bend in the river’, and we have a favourite UK cousin, his wife, and daughter (Brian, Andrea and Sara), who mean the world to me. As a 14 year old, Brian stayed with us in Stratford, NZ, and being at least seven years younger than him, we adored him more than we could say. And that now extends to fabulous Andrea, and sweet-heart Sara. They also live in Bolton, UK - where an incredible number of Cromptons also live. Title explained.
